Durante o evento de lançamento foram apresentadas especificações como a tela HD de 5 polegadas, 2 GB de memória RAM, o processador Exynos 5 Octa com oito núcleos, a camera traseira de 13 megapixels e a câmera frontal de 2 megapixels e o sistema Android na versão 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. O preço do S4 e a data de lançamento no Brasil também já foram anunciados pela Samsung. O Samsung Galaxy S4 chegará dia 26 de abril ao Brasil, custando R$ 2.399 a versão 3G e R$ 2.499 a versão 4G. Também foram divulgados o tamanho e o peso do aparelho. O Samsung Galaxy S4 tem 7,9 mm de espessura e pesa 130 g.
